Dr. Doreen C. Parkhurst, MD, FACEP, is a board-certified emergency  advocacy with a distinguished career that includes practicing in Florida, California, Nevada, and Michigan. Dr Parkhurst is a member of Greater National Advocates. She now offers her expertise through tele-advocacy, serving as a patient advocate focused on elderly care and complex medical decision-making

With extensive experience in Emergency Departments and Trauma Centers, Dr. Parkhurst has a keen awareness of the challenges that elderly patients face. Her compassionate approach and clear communication have helped many patients and their families navigate the often difficult choices that come with aging and chronic illness.

In her academic role as Associate Dean at Barry University, Dr. Parkhurst has been a leader in advancing medical education. She has pioneered distance learning programs and led research initiatives that have brought critical healthcare education to rural and underserved communities.
